First of all I do hope
this message brings you the best of the New 2010 year.
My sincere apologies
to the class for not keeping the website up to date this past year.
Due to many personal
issues numerous things seem to have been put on the back burner of which
our website was one of them.
2010 seems to be getting off on a better start and i will try and do
better at keeping the website up to date.
I have received a few new classmate address updates and they will be
posted within the next week.
I deleted our Blog link and replaced it with our
Facebook link.
It seems like more and more are on Facebook now and we can
communicate a bit better to keep up with each other.
I am not sure who made the Facebook website for us but it is appreciated.
One word of sadness...
We lost Jack McGuin our Music Director this past December.
Our class yearbook was dedicated to both Mr. and Mrs. Jack McGuin.
The "In Memory" slideshow has him included.

Well the best laid
plans at times never seem to pan out for what ever reasons.
Such is the case
with my plans of attending the 45th reunion.
I had been truly
looking forward to going to Anchorage to see all of you for many months
and up until recently all was a go, but because of recent things going on
in my life, and as much as I hate to say it, it just cannot happen. As you
all know I have not attended any of the reunions and was really looking
forward to this one.
Those of you
that are going to attend I do hope that you will take a lot of digital
pictures so you can send them to me and I will post them up on our
website. Also if you can make any .mpg videos I can use them also….
I am trying to set
up a webcam conference with Foster at the reunion so I can see you all
live, but not sure if this will happen…Yet to be seen at this time.

and know that I am there in spirit and love you all.

If you think of anything that we may include or that you would like
to see on the website please let me know. I will try my best.
Also... If you see anything "WRONG"
with the website as far as it not working right, I would appreciate a
quick email so I can fix the problem.

New Guestbook !
We have a totally new one that will not allow any guestbook spam
bots to attack our guestbook. The old one was a real headache to maintain
in deleting the bad entries we were getting.
Also made a new banner for the website. Hope you like both changes !

Hi
Classmates.............................
I want to apologize for not keeping the address updates lately.
One of my best friends of 35 years here in Merced passed away two weeks
ago
and I have been a care giver for him every week for many months along with a few of our
other friends and needless to say it was difficult, long and stressful
time for all of us. Couple this with the everyday things that need doing I
just have not had the time to devote to keeping the website current. Now
that things are getting back to some form of normality I will try and do
better.
I will be posting the new address updates along with an addition to the
"In Memory" page.
Sadly we lost two other classmates Nancy Howard & Janet Smith. Our sincere
condolences go out to her families.
2nd SPECIAL REQUEST !
I would really like to have another classmate that can be a
webmaster backup for me.
This would be insurance just in case for whatever reason I cannot continue
doing the website so the website would continue.
Not that I expect anything to happen to me, but I may win the state
lottery and disappear to the south pacific !
I will send him or her a complete back up of the website with all files
and pictures.
If you know of anyone in the alumni that has knowledge of doing websites
and would like to help and is familiar with Windows Front Page Web Editor,
please ask them to contact me.
It is imperative that we have two
webmasters if at all possible !
Just drop me an

with your phone number and I will call you and we can make arrangements to
get a back up copy of the entire website to you.

Just a quick note to let you all know that
we now have a alumni blog site.
I do not have any experience in
blogging ( I went to Barnes & Noble and bought a "Blogging for Dummies"
book) but this seems to be the most popular way of communicating almost in
real time now a days. There is much to learn and alot you can do with it.
I having chosen "Word
Press" as the blogger and you do not need to belong to it to leave a
comment. To join World Press is free if you choose.
Please click on the blog link and take a look and hopefully leave a
comment.
If anyone has experience in blogging I would truly appreciate any
suggestions as to how I could make the blog better.

Do any of you have experience in using Microsoft Frontpage webpage editor?
If so, would anyone be willing to be a backup webmaster for me, just in
case I
